 It's in the way the sun kisses your skin and how the baby blue waves crash along the sandy shore. It's the flawless faces of the city and the thought of a summer romance, the kind that you see in movies. It's the thought of returning to where it all started and then ending August with a change. It's a California summer and you can't help but adore it. While people are growing up and moving on, new faces appear for the summer rush, searching for their fairytale summer. But what happens once that picture perfect image begins to fade into a dustland fairytale? San Francisco can seem like a dream, but reality tells a different story. Underneath all those flawless faces are secrets just waiting to be told. With every secret there comes a lie, and with every lie there comes a truth. And sometimes the truth is worse than the lie. But no matter what there's always someone waiting to reveal your darkest roots. With cover ups and scandal there's no telling who to trust in this golden city. And that's just the beginning of it all. When the lights go down, San Francisco is still full of rich kids with their daddy's money. The party scene erupts with alcohol and their latest addictions. Sometimes more damage will be done than money can fix, and at the end of the summer you might walk away with a new meaning of California. You might have found something better, or maybe have found the reason for your dreams to end. Maybe you'll hold on to a new found love, or realize they're as fake as they come. Maybe you'll see it's best to leave well enough alone, maybe it's best to keep secrets untold, and maybe there's beauty in goodbye, because in the end, Nobody Wins.
