it's really funny to see freddie with his other siblings, because they're all so different. next to max, he's extremely loud, and he likes to be that way. he has a strong, honey-hued voice that carries well over noise, and he uses his voice whenver he can. he's loud, and he can also get very whiney when the situation occurs. if he doesn't get what he wants, when he wants, it gets naggy and his tone becomes rather annoying. he does this a lot around his parents more than around his friends, but it's there. he's a very demanding person, which has definitely become a part of his personality. he expects a lot of the people around him, and when they don't deliver he gets extremely angry at them.
one of the core values of freddie's personality is his selfishness. he's extremely self-centered, only worrying about himself and things that will affect his well-being. he wants the best for him, and he's the most important person in his life. he could give a damn about anyone else around him, and he won't hesitate to leave them behind if he gets an opportunity. if he knows something will benefit him but won't help his friends out, he'll do it anyway. if he's out at a party and offered a ride, he leaves his "friends" stranded and goes home. he's almost always talking about himself, and complaining how things aren't just right for him, and only him. this characteristic can be rather obnoxious, but you get used to it. some people find it attractive, that a person's main interest is themselves - it's kind of like self-preservation.
usually boys hate to be called vain, but that's the perfect way to describe fred. his looks come first, all the time. if his hair isn't perfect or he's got a little bit of a breakout, he stays home from school to avoid people seeing him when he's not in all his glory. he prides himself in being handsome, and does whatever he can to enhance this part of himself. he talks about how good-looking he is a lot of the time. he's the type of guy who a girl will say "you're hot" to, and he'll respond with "oh i know, aren't i?" he knows he's good-looking, and he'll use it to get whatever he wants. in this sense, he's rather manipulative and conniving. it's a lost cause when it comes to this, honestly freddie could spend more time than a girl on his appearance. when he passes a mirror, he makes sure to stop and check himself out - this is basically all the time, and he does it without shame. people can only be jealous, or at least that's what he thinks.
over the years, fred has learned the ropes in high school and he knows the best way to achieve his means. it doesn't matter what he does to get what he wants, he'll do it gladly and he won't back down when someone challenges him. so what if someone's feelings got hurt? so what if he crushed someone? that means they're not cut out for life, to freddie. if you ever do cross him, you'll regret that day with every fiber in your being. instead of outright confronting you and beating you down, he'll get under your skin, find out your secrets, backstab you, and then have it all laid out in front of everyone to embarrass you, and all before you can even say anything to stop it. his schemes have gotten him very far in the social ladder and helped establish his well-known reputation.
along the way, he developed a very stubborn side. if someone tells him to do something, he won't. he hates being directed, and he only allows that in school when he has to do assignments or whatever, and even then he won't do work if he doesn't feel like it. he'd rather do things his own way, as he's very independant and self-sufficient. if he believes in something, he won't budge no matter what you say. for example, he's perpetually angry at himself and thinks that should never change no matter what you say to him. he's worse than a mule, or so his parents stay. once he decides on a course of action, he goes all the way through with it and doesn't have a conscience because he's sure of what he's doing. he has a very one-track mind when it comes to getting things accomplished.
he's totally full of energy all the time, and he can bust a move on short notice. he's one of those guys who'll dance in the hallway if he wants to, just because he has so much extra energy filled in his body. it's almost as if he's continuously drinking red-bull, when in fact he's not a fan of the drink. he's always the life of a party, with all eyes on him because he's got such a commanding presence, when he's around, people just can't help but look at him. this presence translates to whenever he's on stage singing or playing guitar - he's a performer, and he knows how to put a god show on. because of this, you can definitely say that he's learned how to put a mask on and hide his deepest emotions. anyone who tries to pry and learn more about him will end up in a lot of pain.
he likes to project the image that he's the cool guy, you know? he's the player, the one that goes through school and knows that everyone's eyes are on him. when you walk up to him, if he decides you're worthy enough to talk to him it's usually a very relaxed conversation. he doesn't find the need to be hyperactive unless there's a reason for it. other than that, he's rather quiet and maybe even serious. freddie's toned down his smile so that it only really appears around people he loves, or if he honestly finds something funny. getting him to give you more than an arrogant smirk is hard to do, i'll be honest. he tends to get annoyed easily with people for small things, and it's obvious when he's irritated. he just keeps himself rather distant, never choosing to make close friends unless they make an impression on him.
now there's no sugar-coating it, freddie is by nature a very aggressive person. he hasn't always been this way, it just developed over time. he'll lash out first before you have the chance to hurt him, and part of it is fear but he'd never let anyone know that. he challenges people in mean ways, but doesn't care if he hurts them. that's the least thing he worries about, people's feelings. he tackles things head on and never looks back, plowing through life with a recklessness that alarms some people. he's one to instigate fights and when you talk to him, it's not like he's shouting or anything. he just says very mean, provoking things that can get you worked up rather quickly. besides being aggressive, he's also got a horrible temper that he harbors. it doesn't come out a lot, but when freddie gets mad he doesn't even know what to do. he works on controlling it, but when it does get out of hand he can't stop.
freddie is a very flirtatious person. he knows he's good looking and besides just flaunting it, he flirts with almost anything that breathes. he doesn't need to use lame pick up lines or whatever, he just comes up to someone and his confidence does the rest for him. you could call him touchy-feely, but he uses his body a lot to flirt; touching, small kisses, brushing up against people.. he loves to do all of that, and he really likes to get people turned on. with that, he's an extremely sexual person. he talks about sex easily, and he does have sex whenever he wants to. he doesn't really care for relationships, so it's mostly sex sex sex. people might think he's too graphic for them, but he's suggestive in almost every conversation and finds a way to twist people's words so they sound dirty. prudish people irritate him, because who are they to act like they're above sex? if he finds someone like that, he makes sure that their lives are miserable when he's around.
he watches a lot of comedy specials like SNL, and late night talk shows, so he's quite the funny person. ever since he was younger, he's been telling jokes and trying to get people to laugh. sometimes he'll do it on the expense of others, but freddie loves to joke around. he's always got a clever or witty remark that can get people to cry from laughter, and he enjoys doing that. freddie doesn't do jokes and stuff on command, but when they occur to him he'll say them randomly. he also does a lot of crazy shit that people find hilarious, but that's just a part of who he is. he's crazy, and through his insanity you can see how hilarious he really is. he'll go pretty far for a laugh, i'll tell you that much.
this may be a negative part of his personality, but freddie is a dare-devil to the core. it started with truth or dare in elementary, and then it just built up to a larger scale. he never backs down from a dare, and he'll do anything just for the thrill of it. sometimes he's gotten rather sick from too many shots or alcohol mixed with drugs, but most of the time he loves to do dangerous things. it's like an adrenaline rush, almost as if he's addicted to it. he plays truth or dare at parties now, but it's intense truth or dare, the kind where you're to do a sexual act in front of everyone, or whatever. he really doesn't give a damn, he'll do it just to prove that he can. his favorite game is strip poker, and he'll play without hesitation. he also likes to take risks, even if his life is at stake. it's just a part of his nature. his brothers call him 'danger' as a nickname, because of his blatant disregard for his health and his tendency to get into messes.
this is probably the most defining characteristic of the young man. he's the biggest asshole you'll ever come across. he's just plain arrogant, and he likes to make people feel inferior to him. in his mind, he doesn't have an equal - he's the top of the ladder. he thinks he's the best at everything, and he makes no secret of this. his arrogance is another thing that annoys people, but some people, again, find it attractive. if he doesn't like you, he'll swing by and say the nastiest things just to ruin your day. freddie's a horrible person to have as an enemy, because he's naturally snobby in the first place. he's also a smart ass with his comments, always saying things that make teachers angry in class, or being very cruel and clippy with his peers. as it is, freddie shouldn't have any friends for acting as if he's better than anyone, but he's compelling enough that people keep coming back for more.
his outgoing nature causes him to be a bit of a leader. he takes on student leadership roles without fear, making great speeches that are funny and cynical. he's not afraid of anything on the surface, his deepest fears never come out in the day-to-day. this makes freddie a very brave person, and he doesn't have a single shy fiber in his body. he'll come out and do what everyone else doesn't want to, that's the kind of person that he is. people follow him because he makes such a good authority figure. he seems like a good student, involved in sports and clubs, but kids look at him differently 'cause they know what he's done on the weekends. freddie takes pride in being a leader and actually loves to be on stage, where he's guaranteed to be the center of attention.
blunt. fred is very, very blunt. he's honest to a fault and will say exactly what's on his mind, with no censoring at all. i mean he does kind of have a conscience, but really he doesn't care about people. he's the best anyway, so why worry about the rest of them? he's straightforward when you ask him a question and says things without shame, like his drinking and partying and sex habits. again, this should repulse people, but for some odd reason they like it. it's hard to find such open honesty in people, but he strongly believes that telling lies isn't the way to get anywhere. freddie gets from point A to point B in the quickest way possible, so why go around the bush by telling lies and that shit? in a way, this is a good thing - you can go to freddie (if he'll talk to you even) and know that he'll always tell you the truth. however, he does have his own secrets, things that he doesn't talk about and refuses to mention. some of his personal life is under wraps and when people try to pry, he gets extremely pissed off.
underneath it all, he was raised just like his brothers, under the same roof. this up bringing has definitely influenced the person that freddie is, whether that's obvious or not. he's loyal to a fault once he accepts you, and he'd never leave you no matter what. he can be the sweetest boy, but that's hidden under many, many layers. usually the word 'tender' or 'romantic' aren't associated with him, but freddie has those abilities if you can reach them. he's quite open minded and artistic, which has become an integral part of his personality. he's easygoing in the sense that he bends when the wind blows and rolls with the punches. nothing can phase him that badly. you could call him a free-spirit, and that's how he thinks of himself. freddie hates to be tied down to things, and commitment is the last on his list. he just can't imagine having a restriction to just one person, when there's so much more out there. in his mind, if he's gonna be in a relationship then that person better be damn worth it. he's really not as bad as he's cracked up to be, but not many people see that.
hair , a detailed explanation of what your his hair is his pride and joy, and he takes care of it religiously. it's definitely inherited from both parents, because his father has straighter, almost wavy hair, while his mother has thick curls. freddie ended up with waving, messy dark locks that curl slightly at the nape of his neck when he lets it grow out. it's always shiny and healthy looking, and he does everything in his power to keep it that way. on the occasion, he's been known to completely flat-iron his hair, but it isn't often anymore; he used to have an obsession with straight hair when he was a sophomore, but eventually he grew out of it. freddie loves his natural hair and will often leave it to dry as it is, but if he thinks it'll frizz he dutifully applies product. he also enjoys it when people run their hands through his hair in the heat of the moment. he likes hats, and all different kinds - beanies, bowler's caps, fedora's.. the more classic, the more likely he is to wear it. he's been known to stay at home from school if he's suffering a particularly bad hair day.
eyes , freddie's eyes rest between two thick eyebrows that he trims, but never cuts down in size. he doesn't watn to look any girlier than he does, even though he doesn't believe himself to be feminine. his eyes are well-set into his face, accentuating his high cheekbones and sitting well against his lightly olive complexion. his eyes are inherited from his mom's side of the family, even though she has dark eyes. freddie's eyes are a light brown, almost scintillating hazel in the light. they're framed by curling dark lashes that most girls have to wear mascara for, but he doesn't like to draw attention to that fact. his eyes are expressive, and show a range of emotions when he wants them too. he's become a good artist and can wear a mask when necessary, but other than that you could practically hear or read the emotions heavy in his eyes. they're one of his best features, according to his mom..
built , the only reason that freddie's body doesn't match his "pretty-boy" face is his obsesion with the gym. he has to go and work out for at least an hour, or an hour and a half if he really wants to. he thinks that being toned is probably the best thing you could do for yourself - he encourages his family to work out, and gets frustrated when they blow him off. freddie finds physical fitness to be really important, and he works out every single day. his arms are very buff and muscular, which makes his shoulders slightly broad as well. his hands are strong and the veins in them protrude a little when he's moving them; these veins run all the way up his arms, too. he also has a strong vein in his neck that comes up when he's singing really loudly. the sort. overall, he's very proud of the physique he's managed to get, and he plans on keeping it. it helps him attract people, and being toned helps during sex, doesn't it?
now, unlike all those emo or scene kids, this young man has very muscular legs. it's come from years of training and working out, and they're rather well-shaped and obviously toned. they come in handy when he goes out for a run or whatever, and he rather likes them because it shows that he works out quite a bit. this being said, freddie wears tight pants a lot of the time to show off what he's got, or so he thinks. the pants cling to his thighs and then to his "package" - it's rather hard not to notice it, since the pants are so tight, and he does this on purpose. i suppose you could say he has a rather shapely backside too, although that's not what he focuses on when he works out. it's not girly or huge, but you can tell he keeps himself fit from the front and the back. freddie inherited his father's feet, that's for sure. neither of his parents have large feet anyway, so that could be a factor in his own shoe size. he's got medium-sized feet for a guy, which could be considered on the small size compared to many of the guys he knows.
his stomach and abdominal area are his pride and joy, and he makes sure to flaunt them when he can. since he started working out, he's developed a rather defined pair of abs that you can feel if you touch his stomach. he spends a lot of time working out this area of his body, because he knows that when he goes to a pool or something this is the thing that can get him hook-ups and admiring stares. freddie goes shirtless whenever he can, just to show off this part of his body - if he can't go shirtless, he wears muscle shirts or wife beaters. freddie's pleased with the way his stomach and abs have turned out, and it's one of the compliments that he most often receives from his flings or partners as they're touching and kissing. it's nice to trail your hands down a six pack, right? he eats a lot, but he makes sure it's all nutrious or organic so he can keep his shape..

fashion sense , when it comes to clothing style, freddie is rather eccentric. he likes to find the things that people wouldn't ever wear, and then come to school in them. this means frequent raids of the vintage store, and experimenting with new things. he likes scarves, vests, and button-down shirts a lot. his style ranges a lot - one day he'll be looking all fancy and sharp, and the next day he'll come in with a vintage t-shirt and some obnoxiously bright green shoes. freddie loves him some shoes, and he spends a lot of money to get the strangest colored sneakers and things of that nature. he also likes those really classy dress shoes from different era's, that's his favorite. another thing he loves is sunglasses; he considers them an important accessory and drops tons of money on the best kinds. designer brands are important to him, but he's not a stickler for that kind of stuff - he just likes to look nice. most sunglasses fit his face type very well anyway, so it's not a hassle shopping for them. i guess you couldn't put his clothing style into one definitive class, and he likes it that way.

overall history ,it all starts with the parents, paul clarke and denise cavalini. paul was a musician at birth, always playing music whenever he could and finally landing his big break as a part of a rock'n'roll band when he was about 25 years old. they even had a number one single. he knew that he was made to make music, no matter what it was. denise cavalini's parents had moved to America from Venice, Italy, in the hopes that she could start a new life here. she was a very intelligent and personable young woman, having a certain sparkle in her deep chocolate eyes that made people love her. she figured out that she wanted to be in television, because her warm personality just suited that field. she had no idea how the train of events in her life would lead her to paul. one thing was certain; paul and she both shared the drive to touch the stars. she was going to college in new jersey, finishing up her last few months to get her degree, when she bumped into a young man who was going to play a gig at her college that night. you could say they had an instant attraction, and he invited her to the show which she thoroughly enjoyed. they began to see each other after that.
they fell in love not long after, with both families happy at the match. they moved to new york city and rented a dingy little condo with the scarce money that they had, and pretty soon they were doing big business downtown. it was wierd to be away from their roots in new jersey, but big things would happen to this couple, bigger than they ever expected. paul wasn't able to continue his career in music after his big hit, but he was such a savvy young man that he got into the music industry and worked his way up. pretty soon he was getting all the big jobs, and then he found the money to make his own record company, clarke records. it became an "overnight success" to quote the New York Times, and he got big clients like Beyonce, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, and other big acts. Everyone wanted to work with his genius, since it seemed like he had the magic touch - many of the singles he produced reached number one. while paul was finding this success, denise had gotten signed on by the Food Network for her own show in Italian cuisine. That became number one as well, which launched her career in making home products and kitchenware.
together, they became the unexpected power couple. it was in between all this crazy success that denise became pregnant with her first child. they had been wed the summer before on a rooftop in times square, so this would be the first child of their union. thus, frederick mercury clarke was born. his parents had given him his name as a tribute for the great performer freddie mercury, and it seemed to fit him perfectly. from the moment he was born, fred was a little spitfire. he was always crying, a very loud baby whom his parents doted on and loved. they were so proud of him and loved him to death, as the first child. there was also a hint of nervousness there too, because they wanted to raise him "right" so that the other children they would have could have a good example. from a young age, freddie was an entertainer, telling jokes to make people laugh and doing "performances" on holidays, upon request. there are countless video tapes of these adorable moments. the media was all over his birth, which caused some commotion in the family, but eventually they became used to the spotlight and the paparazzi as well. it's safe to say that freddie always grew up in the spotlight, which could account for his nature today.
of course, dazzling little freddie was not thrilled with his siblings were born. it meant that he wasn't going to be the center of attention any more. for about two weeks he was very crabby and immature about it, but then he realized that it would be nice to have someone to play with. they grew up in sync, with the middle boy being a great guitar player, maxwell excelling at all things musical, and freddie shining on the stage with his strong voice and electric presence. everything seemed to be going well, until the year that maxwell turned nine. that was when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and everything changed. no one knows this except for the family, but freddie really stepped up during his brother's sickness. he helped him when he was down, got his medicine for him, watched at his bedside, and even made special foods that wouldn't rock his blood sugar. he loves his brother and he honestly would do anything for him. having their father own a record label opened up many opportunities for the young men, which they haven't seized just yet. freddie just likes having cameras on him, and welcomes the paparazzi with open arms. being photogenic has everything to do with it.
it was around his sophomore year that he started getting involved in crazy shit, and his jackass personality started to form. with every girl he got with and every dare he accomplished, his ego swelled. he became known as good-looking, witty, and quite the asshole - that translated to a bad-ass, and girls digged that. freddie lost his virginity in freshman year so sleeping around wasn't a problem, but now he'd started to experiment with guys as well. anything to get a good feeling, that was what he was all about. the parties started to come and he would get wasted, trashed, doing drugs and alcohol and partying, unashamed of the sexual acts he performed. it didn't help that all of this was in the media, but he didn't give a damn. girls wanted him for his fame, and he could care less that they were using him as long as he fucked them right. he'd even take a girl out on the town if she gave him a good enough blow job. he became a novelty at whatever school he attended, mostly for his name and his good looks. his parents knew that he was getting a little out of hand, so in junior year they transferred him into st. jude's school for boys on the upper east side. it wasn't so far from where their luxurious house is located, and he seemed to transition well. freddie loved st. jude's, instantly finding himself at the top of the chain. he was right back where he started, except now he was getting a better education and screwing girls who were hot and had money. life couldn't get any better than that.
cue gossip girl. she made his life so much more interesting on the upper east side, and he couldn't get enough of her. he loved being the center of attention and gossip girl's posts make him sound like the bad boy that every girl wants to be with. he does have his secrets that he would prefer no one knows, like the fact that when he was in about sophomore year, that was the darkest time of his life. his best friend and partner in crime franklin rowling had overdosed on pills and then drank too much alcohol, and they couldn't stop the poison from spreading in his young body. he was dead in less than an hour, and it shook freddie badly. he was at that same party too and he was less fucked up than franklin, and fred feels like he should have watched out for his friend. instead, he was drinking and practically screwing a girl in the corner while his best friend was dying. it still haunts him to this day, and he'd prefer no one knows about the fact that he feels guilty for the death of his best friend. that entire ordeal plunged him into depression but he's managed to pull out - sometimes he still has his lapses, as the anti-depressants on his drawer attest to.
for now he's just reveling in his life as a trendy young socialite, always going out with paparazzi around. he seems to be looking for something more than a fling, but that could just be a misinterpretation. it is freddie clarke after all - at just 18 years old, his name is positively infamous.
