Sea's Point started off as a normal town. No, really. It was a mostly human city until mermaids moved into the ocean. Then they came on land, joined the humans. And of course, more species followed.
Eventually, Sea's Point became a hotspot for those species that were shunned elsewhere. A high school was built, and a university soon followed. Slowly, the city was closed off to all humans. Or maybe the humans just stopped moving in. Who knows.
The city prospered quickly. Of course, with so many people moving in, what city wouldn't ?? But there were still no humans.
Then someone realized that humans have powers, too. They're not always as powerful as the others, but they're there. Sea's Point was opened to humans again.
The alliance between the humans and the other species is still extremely uneasy, ever today. The mixed breeds fare even worse. But it'll all work out okay eventually. Right ?? Maybe not....
