although losing her inheritance and being forced to live off of what little cash she had left humbled her a little bit, chloé is still a ridiculously bitchy girl. she's not the type who would mess with a person for nothing – she was like that in high school, but those years have long past – but she is the type who will retaliate with everything in her proverbial arsenal to make sure she comes out the winner. in other words: she's not someone you want to mess with.
with her friends, she's very loyal: she’ll almost always stand by her friends in whatever situation they're in. unfortunately, she doesn't have many friends; since losing her fortune, most of her friends disappeared to find another rich girl to look up to. in a way, chloé is happy that this happened; she was able to see who her real friends were. those who stuck around are the only ones that she’s interested in being around – the rest don’t matter. she can’t exactly make new friends either, because hardly anyone is really interested in being around a super-bitchy girl who doesn’t even have a super-cool penthouse that they can hang out in.
she can be really dedicated to something if she cares about it enough, but there aren’t many things that she actually cares about. school, sure – she loves to learn, so that’s a no-brainer for her. but things like work? no way. since her parents took away her inheritance and basically disowned her, chloé was forced to drop out of school just nine credits short of graduation because she could no longer afford it. that meant moving out of the dorms and finding a job so she could support herself. problem is, she can’t bring herself to keep any job that she acquires because she finds them all painfully boring. she can’t work retail because she has a habit of being very rude to customers who ask her silly questions (“do you have this in a smaller size?” constitutes as a silly question in her mind), she can’t be a waitress because she refuses to take people’s orders. she’s working on herself, though, so she can be a better person and actually get a job so she can save enough money to go back to school.
hair , chloé is a natural brunette, but she's dyed her hair so many times that even she is unsure of it's natural shade of brown. currently her hair is dark with some light caramel highlights running through it, and is cut about shoulder-length. the haircut came after her parents decided to disown her – prior to that, she'd always had long, wavy hair that reached down to about the middle of her back. although it was an impulse cut and she sometimes misses her longer hair, chloé is a very confident girl; she can rock whatever hairstyle she has, regardless of length or color, with the help of a fierce attitude.
eyes , with brown hair came brown eyes, something that chloé wasn't a fan of through most of her high school years. after she turned eighteen, though, she took a good long look at herself in the mirror and thought one single thing: this was the face she was stuck with, so she had better get used to it. it wasn't that she hated any part of herself – quite the contrary – but she had always wished that she had blue eyes rather than dull brown ones. now, however, she loves the dark hue of her irises, feeling that it complements her skin tone and hair color perfectly.
built , although she's not as thin as some girls, chloé is very comfortable with her weight. she has no reason not to be – she's a good, healthy weight for her height, and she still looks pretty skinny.
weight , 127.
height , 5'7"
fashion sense , chloé's sense of style hasn't been too defined since her fall from financial heaven. since she had to sell most of her couture to fund the overpriced rent for her apartment, she doesn't even have many pieces left in her closet. she was able to hold onto a few things from her old life, but everything else is just simple clothes that she picked up for pure necessity. this means that most things she wears are very basic.

overall history ,
life didn't always used to suck for chloé lemon. in fact, life used to be pretty great for her – she had a nice family, an even nicer house on the coast of santa barbara in southern california and an even nicer wardrobe that couldn't even fit in one closet. she was undoubtedly spoiled, often times receiving whatever she desired without so much as a moment's notice. in high school she held the coveted queen bee title and she was valedictorian of her class. by the time graduation rolled around, she had been accepted to the school of her dreams – columbia university in new york city – and she finally felt as if her dreams of a perfect life were coming true.
in reality, though, her life was about to end up in shambles. chloé’s spending habits had grown a lot since her days in santa barbara, and by her junior year at columbia she’d racked up a credit card debt so high that even her father couldn’t pay it. as a result, he cut her off, agreeing only to pay for things that were related to her education – that meant her tuition, books and her room and board, nothing else. chloé, being the spoiled bitch she was, decided that she didn’t have to listen to her father and began charging her expensive shopping habit on the emergency credit card that her mother had given her unbeknownst to her father.
when her parents discovered that she’d been charging the card, in order to pay the bill they were forced to sell their house and a lot of their possessions to pay for it. understandably, they were pretty angry. chloé was financially out of control, and they had no choice but to cut her off so she could learn just how hard it was to support herself. upon hearing this decision, chloé and her parents got into a fight and her father verbally denounced her as his daughter. stunned, chloé left before he could retract his statement, and they haven’t spoken since. riley, chloé’s brother about three years her junior, is her sole link to the family now, and even then she refuses to talk about them with him. although loves her brother, she can’t help but resent him a little bit for still being in her parents’ good graces. even before, when she was still talking to her parents, she’d always felt as if riley was the favorite in the family. because of that they were never really close when they both lived in santa barbara, but now that he’s moved to new york city for university they’re a lot closer.
currently, chloé has been on her own for about six months and, to be completely honest, she’s not doing too well. she has no job, hardly any money, and she shares a really tiny apartment in harlem with her best friend, andy doyle. although she doesn’t mind living with andy, she does mind living in the apartment that they do. unfortunately, it was the best place that they could afford on chloé’s lack of salary and andy’s tiny salary. she’s too hurt and filled with too much pride to ask her parents for help, so for now chloé is learning to deal with her situation and make the best of it. she’s even become a much nicer person! sure, she’s still really bitchy, but now she’s not so blatantly so.
