sam offers his humble salary to add to yours in making rent. he works as a waiter at an upscale restaurant, so he makes good money. as long as he has a place to paint and write, he's pretty much okay with living in a box. he's twenty-one so he's definitely over 18, and he just moved to NYC to transfer to school so he needs a place to stay.
